I admit to having largely given up working due to too many encounters with creative teams based in the UK adopting a "we know best" attitude.
Trying to explain, "No, Japanese people do not all speak English and no, you can't meet product packaging regulation by writing it all in English" for the umpteenth time to the same client finally broke me 😭🤣
If I might add another couple of observations learned from bitter experience...
Believing the novelty of Being British (other nationalities available) is a USP has a shelf life shorter than a soft cream in high summer;
A belief you can do it all from your home country because it's easier for you is a hiding for nothing.
